Dance Competition Winners

Ecole students won the second place in the category Kandyan Creative; 15 years and under, at the dance competition conducted by Sri Lanka Festival of Music, Dance and Speech, affiliated to the British and International Federation of Festivals for Music Dance and Speech.

 

This is what the adjudicator had to say about ecole dancers:

 

     "Beautifully costumed,

      Good timing and well-rehearsed routine,

      Very good balance shown

      the use of the arms exquisitely depicted the peacock feathers"

 

The dance team was trained by our dancing teacher Ms. Arosha Herath.
